Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the US, with more than 3.5 million skin cancers diagnosed in more than two million Americans each year. More that 10,000 dermatologists practice in the US alone, along with more than 1,500 physician assistants in dermatology. These specialists must be adept at diagnosis and be prepared to integrate new therapies into practice.
